Order backlinks for a Shopify store: the whole trip, in order

This page follows one imaginary order from an empty basket to a live link. The store, the numbers and the product are made up, so you can see the flow without anyone's real results.

The example store

Say you sell ceramic mugs on a Shopify store and want more people to find your /collections/stoneware-mugs page. Everything below is an example. The prices are inside the real range of $1 to about $500, but this order never happened.

Seven steps, from filter to status

01

1. Open the marketplace

Log in and go to the find links page. You see rows, much like a product grid, with Domain Rating, organic traffic, referring domains, niche, language and price on each.

02

2. Narrow the rows

Set language to English, niche to home or lifestyle, and a price ceiling of $30. The 50,000+ domains shrink to a list you can actually read.

03

3. Compare, do not rush

Open two or three rows side by side. A cheaper row with steady traffic often beats an expensive one in the wrong niche.

04

4. Add to basket

Press add on the rows you like. Nothing is charged yet, and you can remove a row at any time.

05

5. Pick a content mode

Choose automatic with your target URL and keyword, give your own prompt, or paste a finished article. The article carries one clean link to your page.

06

6. Review and pay

Read the basket as you would a cart before checkout: right page, right keyword, right total. Then pay from your dashboard balance.

07

7. Watch the status

The placement appears in your ordered links with its status. It usually goes live within about 24 hours of payment.

The example basket, line by line

Hypothetical figures for illustration only
LineWhat it isExample price
Row 1Home decor blog, English$12
Row 2Kitchen and dining site, English$18
Row 3Small gift guide site$7
TotalThree placements to one collection page$37

What to write in the sheet afterwards

Log it the day you pay. Date, donor, price, target URL and anchor go on one line, because memory fails by the third order.

Two weeks later, open Google Search Console and look at that single collection page. If impressions grew, note it; if nothing happened, note that too, since a quiet result is also information.

Keep the next order small. A store that buys three links, measures, then buys three more learns far faster than one that buys thirty and cannot tell which did what.

Basket check before you press pay

  • Target URL opens and returns a normal product or collection page
  • Keyword matches what the page is really about
  • Niche of the donor is close to what you sell
  • Total fits the budget you wrote down
  • Content mode is the one you meant

Walkthrough questions

Does adding rows to the basket cost anything?

No. The basket is a holding area, and the charge happens only when you review and pay. You can leave and come back, then change rows before the final step.

Can I top up the balance by API?

No. The balance is topped up in the dashboard, and invoices and proforma invoices are available there. The API and MCP agents handle browsing and basket filling, not payment.

What if I want to check prices first?

Read the price ranges for small stores and use the budget tool on the home page to size a first order.
